Account deletion
Draft. Last updated: September 2026.
How to request deletion
Google Play requires a deletion path that works without logging in. There is no self-serve delete API in the product yet. Email support@jivadra.com from the address on the account, subject line "Account deletion request". Staff will confirm and process the request. You do not need to be signed in to send that email.
You are not signed in. You can still request deletion by email as above.
What is erased vs retained
Account deletion follows the cascade already recorded for the product: the User row is soft-handled so login identity and PII (email, phone, password hash, profile display name, publications, experience, connections, messages you sent as chat text, referral rows you are party to, waitlist/contact rows tied to that email) are erased or detached. We do not hard-delete anonymized clinical content.
Posts and comments use deletedAt only — never a hard delete of anonymized Case Consult material. An accepted reply from a deleted doctor stays visible and is attributed as "Deleted user". That remaining text was never patient-identifying (age range and sex only). Referral clinical fields follow the same anonymization rules and are retained only in that non-identifying form if a handoff record must remain for the other party's clinical record.
Audit logs of staff actions stay as a compliance trail (actor, action, target type, no copy of clinical notes). App logs are redacted and time-limited. See the privacy policy for processors.
