Terms of service
Draft. Last updated: September 2026.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using Jivadra (the website, mobile app, and related services), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are a draft until reviewed by counsel.
The service
Jivadra is a professional network for healthcare professionals in India. It includes a clinical feed and Case Consult, specialty communities, messaging between connected doctors, structured referrals, education features as they ship, and a verified specialist directory. The product is India-only. Infrastructure is intended to remain in India.
Accounts and verification
You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current. Email confirmation is required before you can sign in. A "verified" badge means a staff reviewer (and, when available, DigiLocker) has matched the account to a professional identity on file. It is not a medical-credentialing guarantee, a licence to practise, or an endorsement of clinical skill. View-only members (including students and researchers) may read and follow; they may not post or reply.
Acceptable use
You must not post patient-identifying information, misuse another person's identity, harass others, attempt unauthorised access, or use the service for advertising that we have not approved. Clinical discussion on the platform is peer opinion, not medical advice. The medical disclaimer applies and is not restated here.
Content ownership
You retain rights in content you post. You grant Jivadra a licence to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the network. Anonymized clinical posts and accepted Case Consult replies may remain after account deletion, attributed as a deleted user, as described in the account deletion page.
Termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe poses a safety or legal risk. You may request deletion as described on the account deletion page.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by Indian law, Jivadra and its operators are not liable for clinical decisions, third-party content, or outages. Nothing in these draft terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer or IT-law forum rules. Informal resolution via grievance redressal should be attempted first.
